Hello! My name is Adam Volk and I’m a freelance journalist, editor and writer. As a screenwriter and production coordinator for developer Artech Studios, I helped create video games for the Xbox 360, PC and Nintendo Wii and worked with companies including: Scholastic, Sports Illustrated, Wendy’s, Paramount Pictures, Hasbro, Electronic Arts, Disney and Microsoft.
As a journalist, my work has appeared in a variety of online and print publications including: SF Site, Comics Bulletin, Film Junk, Gamasutra, The Ottawa XPress, RAGMAG, Urban Male Magazine, Paste Magazine and The New York Review of Science Fiction. When I’m not writing or attempting to placate the voices inside my head, I enjoy spending quality time with my Xbox 360, taking long walks by the beach, and hunting vampires for sport. I currently live in Canada with my wife Pam and an unusually angry Chihuahua named Loulou.
